Sniper scope

The telescopic sights that are placed in the optical devices are based on the optical refracting telescopes. Inorder to aim accurately, some form of graphical image will be mounted in a position. There are a wide variety of applications but the most common application is guns where accurate aiming is required. Sniper scope will also have a graphical image pattern so as to aim the object correctly. The scope sights are generally classified in terms of optical magnification and diameter of the object lens. The optical magnification can either be fixed or variable. Some of the most commonly used parameters in optical science are eye relief, exit pupil, objective lens diameter, magnification etc. In some cases people use tactical scopes to employ certain tactics to aim the object. The scope sights will often have a different set of reticles. Mil Dot reticles are most commonly used in military and law enforcement. However in optical science parallax errors are quite common. There is yet another concept available in Rifle scopes and it is called as bullet drop compensation. One can also do a lot of adjustments to a telescopic sight. Some of the notable applications are iron sights, reflector sights, laser sights etc.
